Privacy
TermSure sets no cookies and doesn't track you. Here's the little it does record.

Who we are
TermSure is run by Navanto Ltd, which is the data controller for what this page describes. We're registered in England and Wales (company number 17073806), and our registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Write to us about anything here at support@navanto.co.uk.
When you visit
There's no account, no sign-up and nothing to fill in. Each time you open a page, we record your IP address, your browser, the page, and the page that linked you to it. We use these records to keep the site working and safe from abuse, and to see which pages people use and how they find them. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the site. We delete the records after 30 days.
Our firewall also counts requests from each IP address, to block anyone sending a flood of them, and keeps a sample of requests for 3 hours.
Cookies
TermSure sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and runs no analytics or advertising. Its fonts come from TermSure itself, so opening a page doesn't tell anyone else you're here.
Links to a school's or council's website take you to that site, which has its own privacy policy.
School and council documents
We read the term-dates pages and documents that schools and councils publish on their websites. They sometimes name people, such as a head teacher. We use them only to find dates, never publish the names, and keep copies as the record of where each date came from. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing accurate term dates. Anthropic, our AI provider, reads the documents for us under terms that don't let it train its models on them.
Where your data goes
We don't sell or share personal data. Amazon Web Services hosts TermSure and keeps the records above, in the United States and London. Anthropic processes documents in the United States. For data that leaves the UK, we rely on the UK's transfer safeguards: the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We'll pass data to the authorities only when the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit using it. Email support@navanto.co.uk. We reply within a month. Since we record only an IP address, tell us yours and the times you visited, so we can find your records.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
When we change this page, the date at the top changes too.
